This little calf is a small sculpture I made in my 3D Design class during my second semester at KSU. I sculpted him out of plasticine, an oil-based clay, and used a simple wire armature to keep the head and neck stable while sculpting. Once I was happy with the results, I made a rubber mold and cast pewter into it after it was fully cured. This project made me fall in love with 3D work, which led me to take two additional sculpture classes in later semesters.
