Wood Carving

This was my first time creating a wood carving, and this piece was actually my second attempt at the project, as my first carving looked absolutely horrible. My professor wanted us to create a non-objective form and two contrasting textures to carve into the wood's surface. For the finish, I used a walnut stain and a polyurethane sealant, which gave the piece an intense shine.
